Avast’s new design uses plenty of bright white space and a simple colour scheme to make this easy for the eye. Nonetheless that does mean you have to browse a lot to get the features you want, and it feels just like some tools are stored inside the machine. There are a few shortcuts to run reads and switch on click the VPN, and there are some not-terribly-useful system optimization tools as well, but if if you’re after these kinds of options you will need to dig deep in the Check out tab.
